The Canmore Nordic Centre is Canada's premier cross country skiing and biathlon venue. Having hosted the nordic and biathlon events of the '88 Winter Olympics the Centre is host to regional, national and international events every winter. In the summer, the Nordic Centre comes alive with hikers, runners, and mountain bikers enjoying the incredible trail network. Participants travel from all over the province and BC to participate in the Canmore 5 Peaks runs.

The race start/finish has a fantastic party vibe. Located on the main stadium with stunning mountain views, the sound of the start/finish DJ can be heard from the ridges as you make your way past the stadium. The course features hard hill climbs, technical and flowy singletrack, views for days, and loads of elevation gain. The course loops through the lower and upper sections of trails with plenty of opportunity to see other runners as you wave through the trails back to the start/finish area.
