Description:

Terra Cotta Conservation Area consists of 485 acres of unique natural environment that has gone through significant changes over the years and is now an excellent representation of the Niagara Escarpment features. 

Park admission will be added to the race fee at time of registration. All race participants will be admitted to the park at no extra charge on race day. Spectators will need pay the park entrance fee at arrival on race day.

8:30 AM - Registration / Packet Pickup for All Events
9:30 AM - Start of 3KM Kids Timed Event
10:00 AM - Start of Children's Challenge ( Free Kids Event )
10:30 AM - Start of the Sport and Enduro Races together
10:45 AM - Post race food & beverage available in race compound
12:30 PM - Awards Ceremony


Terrain:

Terra Cotta is a trail lover’s paradise. A variety of trails take visitors past the forests, fields, lakes and ponds of the Niagara Escarpment surroundings and let you experience natural settings, so close to urban and rural developments. The trails at Terra Cotta accommodate all levels of trail users, from beginner to expert with a variety of terrains and distances.

First Aid & Water Stations:

2 Water/Aid Stations (1 at start / finish area, and 1 mid way through course). First Aid attendants at the Start/Finish area, at aid station and throughout course with radio communication. Course sweep will travel behind last racer.

 

Washrooms:

Washroom facilities and outhouses available at Start / Finish area.

Important Notes:

In the interest of racer safety and because of the size of our attendance and the technicality of our course, it’s dangerous! 

NONE OF THESE THINGS BELONG ON THE TRAIL DURING THE RACE:

  • No dogs
  • No headphones
  • No strollers or baby joggers
  • No nordic walking poles

 

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome. Spectators who cheer will be rewarded with smiles.

 

Awards & Prizes:

Awards ceremony will be held following completion of all competitors. (Approximately 12:30pm). Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age category in all distances, as well as top three male and female finishers overall.
