Terrain:

Chickakoo is a non-technical course on wide Nordic ski trails with plenty of hills!

New for this year we will be running the course in a counter-clockwise direction. Runners will begin their race by clearing a band of boulders and then enjoying 1.5km of flat double track. 1.5km marks the beginning of a steep 500m long climb. At the summit of the climb the course descends for 1km and then is followed by a series of rolling hills. This section concludes with a large steep gully before reaching the Aid Station at 4.25km. Once through the Aid Station runners will tackle a series of large hills until the 6km mark. From 6 km onward the course is flat and fast. Enduros will have a second Aid Station at 7 km before heading out on their second lap.

Finishers will GO STRAIGHT and Lap 2 Enduros will turn LEFT shortly after the second aid station. Runners unable to complete their race are asked to check-in at the finish area and not to cross the finish line. This race is chipped time so please place your number on your chest and seed yourself accordingly.
Remember to be kind when passing/being passed and to thank a volunteer.
