Terrain:

The Enduro Course is a single ~13.5K loop (with a 500m out and back at 5K) and will be run counter-clockwise. From the start/finish area runners will begin their race by clearing a band of boulders. The first 1K is flat double track allowing the runners to spread out before making a hard right and diving into 3.2K of rooty technical singletrack. Runners then get to enjoy 3.2K of rolling double wide Nordic trails around Kettle Lake passing the first Aid Station at the 6K mark. Runners will again make a hard right at ~7.5K into the second longest section of singletrack including the biggest climb on the course. The course follows the ridge-line above Chickakoo for 500m before descending through the trees back to the open Nordic trail. Runners will find the Second Aid Station at the 9.8K mark before making their way back up the Nordic trail. At the top of the rolling climb runners will again make a sharp right into the trees for the final singletrack decent. The last 2K of the course is flat and fast!

The Sport Course is 7.8K and follows the Enduro route for the first 2km where they will turn left (Enduro goes right) and follow a short section of double wide before merging back onto the Enduro course. Aid Station will be at ~4k where runners will stay on the Enduro route to 6.5KM before making hard left (Enduro goes right) and dashing 1.3K to the finish around Indian Ridge.

Remember to be kind when passing/being passed and to thank a volunteer.
