Squamish is an endless outdoor playground and we're proud to present you with one of our absolute highlight courses.
We start and finish in the beautiful Alice Lake Provincial Park, where you can even go for a cool down dip post race, as well as have a BBQ at one of the many picnic tables. Please note, no dogs are allowed on the beach, or in the picnic areas, so dogs are best left at home for this event.
The enduro course starts off by heading around the East side of Alice Lake, through the road in the campgroup, and crosses the road onto the aptly named Four Lakes Trail. During the race you will cruise past Stump Lake, Fawn Lake, Edith Lake and finish up right on Alice Lake.
After looping around the Four Lakes Trail, you'll head past the aid station for the first time, climbing up Mike's to 50 Shades More, where you'll be taking a hard left onto some flowy, runnable, lush switchbacks. You'll pop out on Entrails, turning right, and heading slightly uphill for about 1km, before taking a hard left into the entrance of Rupert & Tazer. Wave Hi to Rupert the dog, enter the trail, and take an immediate right onto Tazer's Alternate. Tazer & Rupert are two of the most fun and unique trails around, featuring a human sized doghouse, a crazy wave bridge, and some really crazy tight corners that will have you screaming "weeeeee!" all the way down. You'll pop out onto Mashiter, take a left around the corner, and left up onto Tracks From Hell. Stay on the narrow bridge or risk running through a swamp. Connect back up to the trail, and be greeted by MUD! Don't worry, it'll be over soon, and it won't kill you. Trail runners look better dirty anyways..You'll pop back out right past the aid station, and if you need a quick sip, grab it, it's time to bomb downhill. You'll run past the turn off to 50 Shades More, heading straight this time, until you reach one of the premiere descents in all of Squamish, Credit Line. Though slightly technical it is a wonderful piece of trail that will bring you down onto the buffed out Jack's Trail. If you're interested, half-way down, there's a beautiful look-out, and the perfect place to stop for a mid-race selfie. Onto Jack's and it's 1.5km at a slight incline, as soon as you spy pavement, pump those legs your finish line is just 200meters away!

After looping around the Four Lakes Trail we'll climb up Mike's Loop to one of the premiere descents in all of Squamish, Credit Line. Though slightly technical it is a wonderful piece of trail that will bring you down onto the buffed out Jack's Trail. Turn right and laugh at all the Enduro racers having to turn left and continue climbing. Jack's is a beautiful rolling trail, and once you past the Enduro course Mid-Life Crisis trail, know that you're in the home stretch. A 1km slight incline up will spit you out at Alice Lake Parking Lot, as soon as you spy pavement, pump those legs your finish line is just 200meters away! Sport has 1 water station approx 4kms into the course.
Enduro Course: 400m
Sport Course: 270m
First Aid & Water Stations:
2 Water/Aid Stations(1 at start / finish area, and 1 mid way through course). First Aid attendants at the Start/Finish area, at aid station and throughout course with radio communication. Course sweep will travel behind last racer.
There is a large bathroom building near the main parking lot, and we will have portable toilets, as well as the existing outhouse near the start/finish line. Please consider stopping to use the bathroom as you walk to the start/finish to avoid huge lineups.
There is minimal parking at Alice Lake, and we are only able to use a portion of the parking lots for racers. Please CARPOOL, arrive early, collect your 5 Peaks parking ticket if you're early enough for the main parking lot. If you are not early enough to snag one of these coveted spots, you will need to park OUTSIDE of the park, on the road, near the highway turnoff. This is an approx 1.5 km walk to the race start.
PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY ENOUGH TO PARK AND BE AT THE RACE COMPOUND A MINIMUM OF 30 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR RACE START. Be prepared to walk 1-2kms from your car to the event start. We will be starting all events on time, regardless of whether you left enough time to drive from Vancouver, find parking, and walk in. Consider the walk/jog a great pre-race warm-up that will help you run faster during the race! When in doubt about the amount of time needed, add an extra 20 minutes to be safe.
All parking is free, but no parking is allowed on the sides of the Alice Lake roads inside the park - if you choose to disobey the parking rules, you may be ticketed or fined by the park, and you may jeopardize our chances of holding a race at this location in the future. Please listen and respect our parking attendants!
In the interest of racer safety and because of the size of our attendance and the technicality of our course, it's dangerous!
NONE OF THESE THINGS BELONG ON THE TRAIL DURING THE RACE.
- No dogs
- No headphones
- No strollers or baby joggers
- No nordic walking poles
Drop Bags: There will be a tent set up where you can leave a bag for after the race. We do not have a full drop bag system in place, and we ask that you do not leave any valuables in your bags.
Race Swag: TBA
Music: This year we are not allowed to have any amplified music in Alice Lake to disturb campers and other guests. Yes, this is not as much fun, but we'll make do. Please keep other park users in mind when arriving early, and keep your volume to a minimum.
Spectators Welcome...best viewing from start/finish area.

Awards ceremony will be held following completion of all competitors. (Approximately 11:30am).
