First Aid & Water Stations:
Two Water/Aid Stations at approx 2.5Km and 5.5Km (Sport runners pass by each station once, Enduro runners pass by each station twice). We are a cup-free event so you will need to bring your own reusable cup. There is no Aid Station on the Kids 3Km course. Water table available at start/finish area to store your personal water bottle. First Aid attendants at the Start/Finish area and aid stations with radio communication.
Washroom facilities and outhouses available at Start / Finish area.
At the front gate identify yourself as a 5 Peaks runner and you will be waived in. Spectators will need to pay the park entry fee. Once you enter Albion Hills follow the "Lakeview Splashpad and Pool" signs to the large parking lot near the pool area. Do NOT attempt to drive all the way to the start/finish area - it is just a quick walk from the designated parking area to the start/finish area. We recommend you arrive at the front gate BEFORE 9 AM - this will ensure speedy passage through the front gates.
In the interest of racer safety and because of the size of our attendance and the technicality of our course, it’s dangerous!
NONE OF THESE THINGS BELONG ON THE TRAIL DURING THE RACE:
- No dogs
- No headphones
- No strollers or baby joggers
- No nordic walking poles
Spectators are welcome. Spectators who cheer will be rewarded with smiles. There is plenty of parking, so come out and cheer your favourite racers. Just a reminder that there are a fair number of single-track trails, so be careful of the participants racing if you are spectating along the course.
Awards & Prizes:
Awards ceremony will be held following completion of all competitors. (Approximately 2:30pm). Medals are given to the top three male and female finishers in each category. Medals to be given to top 3 men, top 3 women and top 3 relay teams in both races.
