Description:

Set in the hills of Caledon on the banks of the Humber River, Albion Hills offers dramatic scenery, exciting activities and excellent facilities - only 45 minutes from Toronto!

Park admission will be added to the race fee at time of registration. All race participants will be admitted to the park at no extra charge on race day. Spectators will need pay the park entrance fee at arrival on race day.

45 minutes North of Toronto on Hwy 50.

6:00 AM - 9:00 AM - Packet Pickup
9:30 AM - Half-Marathon Start
2:00 PM - Awards Ceremony- Top 3 Male / Female


Terrain:

Ontario's first Conservation Area, Albion Hills is set in the Caledon Hills on the banks of the Humber River. The 446-hectare park is the outdoor enthusiast's dream! Beautiful single track, well groomed trails, and spectacular scenery!

First Aid & Water Stations:

Water/Aid Stations at approx 2Km and 6Km. We are a cup-free event so you will need to bring your own reusable cup. Water/Aid station available at start/finish area to store your personal water bottle. First Aid attendants at the Start/Finish area and aid stations with radio communication.
 

Washrooms:

Washroom facilities and outhouses available at Start / Finish area.

 

Parking:

At the front gate identify yourself as a 5 Peaks runner and you will be waived in. Spectators will need to pay the park entry fee. Once you enter Albion Hills follow the "Lakeview Splashpad and Pool" signs to the large parking lot near the pool area. Do NOT attempt to drive all the way to the start/finish area - it is just a quick walk from the designated parking area to the start/finish area. We recommend you arrive at the front gate BEFORE 9 AM - this will ensure speedy passage through the front gates.

Important Notes:

In the interest of racer safety and because of the size of our attendance and the technicality of our course, it’s dangerous! 

NONE OF THESE THINGS BELONG ON THE TRAIL DURING THE RACE:

  • No dogs
  • No headphones
  • No strollers or baby joggers
  • No nordic walking poles

 

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome. Spectators who cheer will be rewarded with smiles.

 

Awards & Prizes:

Awards ceremony will be held following completion of all competitors. (Approximately 2 pm). Awards for the top three male and female finishers.


Registration Deadline and Fee:

Individual registration is now open for 2018. Registration fees for this race is $85** and available until April 1st, 2018 -or- until sold out.
