Mount Seymour Downhill Ski Area - main parking lot at the end of road.

Directions:

Only 1/2 hour from downtown Vancouver. Heading west on Hwy. #1, cross the Second Narrows Bridge, take the 3rd exit (#22) onto Mount Seymour Parkway and follow the signs to Provincial Park. Turn left at Mount Seymour Road (at Mohawk Station)� 15 minutes up the road.

Event Schedule:

7:00 AM -	Registration / Packet Pickup for the Children�s Challenge, Sport and Enduro
8:30 AM -	Start of the Children�s Challenge 1K and any participants planning to walk the Sport or Enduro course.
8:45 AM -	RACE DAY REGISTRATION CLOSES ... Sport & Enduro Pre-Race Briefing
8:55 AM -	Elite Self Seeding Line up at Start Line
9:00 AM -	Start of both the Sport & Enduro race
9:15 AM -	Post race food & beverage available in race compound
11:00 AM -	Awards Ceremony

Terrain:

Combination of single track, technical hiking trails and alpine ski runs.

Elevation Gain:

Sport Course: 251 m
Enduro Course: 642 m

First Aid & Water Stations:

2 Water/Aid Stations(1 at start / finish area, and 1mid way through course). First Aid attendants at the Start/Finish area, at aid station and throughout course with radio communication. Course sweep will travel behind last racer.

Washrooms:

Washroom facilities and outhouses available at Start / Finish area.

Parking:

Plenty of parking at main parking lot near start/finish line. Please note that BC Parks PARKING FEES are in effect so car pool and save a bit of money.

Important Notes:

In the interest of racer safety and because of the size of our attendance and the technicality of our course, it�s dangerous! NONE OF THESE THINGS BELONG ON THE TRAIL DURING THE RACE.
-No dogs
-No headphones
-No strollers or baby joggers
-No nordic walking poles

Spectators:

Spectators Welcome...best viewing from start/finish area.

Awards/Prizes:

Awards ceremony will be held following completion of all competitors. (Approximately 11:00am). Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age category in all distances, as well as top three male and female finishers overall.
All awards must be picked up at the race and will not be mailed.
