Looking for a bit of motivation to keep things moving forward? 9/28/2011: 5 Peaks Triple Header The 5 Peaks Trail Running Series put on a triple header on the weekend with races in Buntzen Lake in British Columbia, Devon in Northern Alberta and ARK in Quebec. 8/27/2011: HODGES HOLDS TOP FOR WOMEN AT CHICKAKOO An early morning mist hovered, anticipating the day's events. As the sun ascended, the mist dissipated and the 5 Peaks community descended on Parkland County's stunning Chickakoo Lake Recreation Area.

Southern Ontario Trail Running Series5 Peaks presents one of the most unique backcountry trail experiences exposing many runners to terrain they never knew existed. The race courses in the Ontario Trail Running Series cover a range of technical single-track, hard-packed sand hills, rocky, uneven ground, hiking and multi-use trails. Each race venue is located within approximately a one hour drive from the Greater Toronto Area, so here's your chance to get out of the city and into the country for an exhilarating Saturday morning experience. What better way to start your weekend?! You'll be physically challenged while experiencing some of the most amazing trails and terrain Ontario has to offer. Plus, many of our locations are primarily mountain biking destinations, so this is your exclusive opportunity to rip them up on foot! Race day festivities usually wrap up between noon and 1:00 PM with our awards and prize ceremonies.

Race Package Pick up and Late Registration: Race package pick up and late registration (if race is not sold out) will be available at the race from 7:30am to 8:30am. No advanced race package pick up will be available. Entry Fees and Registration Incentives:Fees: Online registration will close midnight the Wednesday prior to each event, unless sold out!
Note: The 1/2 marathon can be combined with the other races in the series to take advantage of the registration discount offers (deduct $45.00) and incentives. Park entry/ user fees /parking fees Park entry fees, where applicable, will be added to your race registration fees at the time of your on-line registration. These will be shown as a separate line entry on your receipt. At venues where parking fees may apply, racers are responsible to pay for parking on race day. Registration Incentives:
Race Package Pick up and Late Registration: Race package pick up and late registration (if race is not sold out) will be available at the race from 7:30am to 8:30am. No advanced race package pick up will be available.
All fees non-refundable and non-transferable. If you are unable to attend a 5 Peaks race in which you are pre-registered, you have the ability (through the Registered Racer area) to transfer from one race or course to another - up to the close of the on-line registration system for individual races (Wednesday at midnight prior to race day). On a case by case basis (including racer injury or a medical condition), registrants will be able to defer their race fee to a later event of that same season, or to any venue the following race season of equal dollar value. This transfer may include events in another series should the participant choose. No refunds or transfers will be permitted once the event has occured. For Legal and Liability reasons Runners cannot offer their unused bib to any other runner.
